I'm attempting to conditionally format an entire row based on the value of a Compute in a table utilizing an Across field.

I thought this would work:

DEFMACRO = DeptPercCon, MACTYPE = RULE, WHEN = DeptPercFlag EQ 1, $
TYPE = DATA, MACRO = DeptPercCon, BACKCOLOR = RGB(255 128 128), $

But despite listing the entire 'DeptPercFlag' field in the WHEN statement, it only seems to pay attention to the first instance of DeptPercFlag in the across:


I thought that maybe I could get around this by using column numbers in the WHEN statement like so:

DEFMACRO = DeptPercFlagCon1, MACTYPE = RULE, WHEN = N10 EQ 1, $
DEFMACRO = DeptPercFlagCon2, MACTYPE = RULE, WHEN = N12 EQ 1, $
DEFMACRO = DeptPercFlagCon3, MACTYPE = RULE, WHEN = N14 EQ 1, $
DEFMACRO = DeptPercFlagCon4, MACTYPE = RULE, WHEN = N16 EQ 1, $
DEFMACRO = DeptPercFlagCon5, MACTYPE = RULE, WHEN = N18 EQ 1, $
DEFMACRO = DeptPercFlagCon6, MACTYPE = RULE, WHEN = N20 EQ 1, $
TYPE = DATA, MACRO = DeptPercFlagCon1, BACKCOLOR = RGB(255 128 128), $
TYPE = DATA, MACRO = DeptPercFlagCon2, BACKCOLOR = RGB(255 128 128), $
TYPE = DATA, MACRO = DeptPercFlagCon3, BACKCOLOR = RGB(255 128 128), $
TYPE = DATA, MACRO = DeptPercFlagCon4, BACKCOLOR = RGB(255 128 128), $
TYPE = DATA, MACRO = DeptPercFlagCon5, BACKCOLOR = RGB(255 128 128), $
TYPE = DATA, MACRO = DeptPercFlagCon6, BACKCOLOR = RGB(255 128 128), $

But that didn't work either, it just throws the error '(FOC3202) BAD VALUE IN STYLESHEET FILE AT LINE 150: MACRO=DEPTPERCFLAGCON2'.

With further testing I found that this works:

DEFMACRO = DeptPercFlagCon1, MACTYPE = RULE, WHEN = N10 EQ 1, $
TYPE = DATA, COLUMN = N12, MACRO = DeptPercFlagCon1, BACKCOLOR = RGB(255 128 128), $

But this doesn't:

DEFMACRO = DeptPercFlagCon1, MACTYPE = RULE, WHEN = N12 EQ 1, $
TYPE = DATA, COLUMN = N12, MACRO = DeptPercFlagCon1, BACKCOLOR = RGB(255 128 128), $

So it would seem there is no way for me to get DEFMACRO's WHEN statement to catch anything after the first occurrence of any given field in an Across, despite the same method working with TYPE where 'N12' is recognized.

Any help to get around this or to find a better solution would be much appreciated.

I would suggest checking out the stylesheet options ACROSSVALUE, ACROSSCOLUMN and ACROSSTITLE
