Hi

This is a bit of a 'spare some change for a cup of tea type request' for anyone that might have done this already.

Is there a routine that takes a CSV with headers and then examines the format of the ensuing data (alpha or numeric) and then generates an appropriate .mas based on its findings.

If not when I'm bored I'll write one and post it.

if you have a CSV with headers there must be a reasonable other source...
that could better be used to create the MASTER I think.
Else you can try to do this with the help of Excel or Access.
