We have a report which is capable generating a EXL2K compound report.
However, the users are now wanting to burst the report. We believe that is causing the development server no good.
Is there a way around the **Bursting is not supported with Excel Compound Reports** rule?
Or, is there a system variable or a key we can use to tell if a report is to be burst? We can combine that with &WFFMT and a &SCHEDUAL we've set up to make our own decisions from there.
Any other good, relevant advice is welcome and always, always appreciated. Thanks up front. This message has been edited. Last edited by: WF8Developer,
A while ago I posted this on the forum Bursting a compund excel report I have never seen away to do this directly within report caster (but the last time I tried was in 7.6.7) Essentially it revolves around using the ETL tool to update the schedule times and mimic a bursting of a report.
I hope this helps.
