I have opened a case with IBI asking for a New Feature Request (NFR) to be able to control the maximum # of Data Service Agents base on the time of day. So that a Data Service Agent that is used say for Report Caster can change base on the time of day as to not impact request that need to run during business hours. We have uses that have to ability to schedule jobs and we do not controls when they schedule them. If this sounds like something you could use please open a case requesting it. The more customers that request the more likely it is to be added to the product.
I'm pretty sure this is already a thing with the ability to set blackout dates/times. When people can and can't schedule things. Might take a look-see.
Admin Console > ReportCaster tab > Blackout Periods tab.
8.2.02M (production), 8.2.02M (test), Windows 10, all outputs.
