I want to convert the date from DD-MON-YYYY (Ex: 04-FEB-2010) to DD Mon, YYYY (Ex: 04 Feb, 2010) format in AHTML output and this format should able to support sorting functionality by day, month and year.
Please can anyone help me out on this.

If it is stored as a date, you can reformat it when you use it in the report:
TABLE FILE GGSALES
PRINT
DATE/DMtYY
DATE/D AS 'Day'
DATE/Mt AS 'Month'
DATE/YY AS 'Year'
DATE/wr AS 'Weekday'
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT AHTML
This example just retrieves the same field over and over, and when you sort, it will sort in calendar order (Jan, Feb, etc) , not alphabetical order (April, Aug, etc.).
