I have a report that allows a user to specify a REGION then: ALL or a DEPT therein. If a DEPT is chosen then the user may choose: All or a GROUP therein. A trended bar graph showing volume for current and prior year is then displayed.

I added a bar graph drill down that pops up all emoloyees and their volumes plotted against each other for the given month the user has chosen.

It works great wen a user inittially runs the report for a particular GROUP where 5 or 10 remployees are plotted. If they choose: ALL GROUPS though the number of employees can be 50+ resulting in a graph that is unreadable...all the data runs into each other.

I can not seem to be able to find a format that works for say 5 employees that also works if 50 are returned.

Any ideas?

You can process something like this having HAXIS and/or VAXIS dynamic:
-SET &HAXIS  = IF &GROUP EQ 'ALL' THEN 1000 ELSE 700;
-SET &VAXIS  = IF &GROUP EQ 'ALL' THEN 500  ELSE 350;

.....
ON GRAPH SET HAXIS &HAXIS
ON GRAPH SET VAXIS &VAXIS
.....

Martin,
what exactly will this do? I guess I am looking for some type of magic that shrinks the graph when only 5 people are present but dramtatically increases the height when 50 are present so the bars do not all run into each other. Does this accomplish that?
