Hello I would like to add a help file in my html page. This help would be in a pdf format. User could run the report or open the pdf file with Abode Reader. I suppose that I must make a hyperlink to a fex file which will open a pdf file ? or with Javascript ? What is the coding or the commands to use for the file call? Thank you,This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,
This is quite easy to do. If you are in the data servers area for your environment you can create an html file with a button or image and create an onclick event for the button pointing to your pdf file.
i.e.
//Begin function image1_onclick
function image1_onclick(ctrl) {
window.open('/approot/test_folder/test.pdf');
}
//End function image1_onclick
