[SOLVED] How to pass USER_ID info from shmtl_1 to shmtl_2.

Starting with

our app prompts for userid and password to get in. I think we ignore it
after that.
I need a way to pass userid info from HTML to HTML so that when the user finally gets around to selecting a production report, I can interrogate the userid to determine if that user is authorized to view that report.

Also, we do don't use the Webfocus dev studio - these are just shtml files and mainframe FOCEXEC's -

Any recommendations?
