I am trying to include a percentage in a subtoal line. I have use ave. fieldname in the subtotal line and now need to get a percent from two of the columns that are averaged.
the subtotal line is:
ON TABLE SUBTOTAL AVE. ACT_MEM AVE. INACT_MEM AVE. TOT_MEM AS 'AVERAGE OF MONTH'

I need to compute the percentage of AVE. ACT_MEM/AVE. TOT_MEM and display in the subtotal line.

Try computing a field that is the average and put that field on the subtotal line. You may have to use recompute. Let me know how you make out.

RECAP is the command you need. Look that up, you'll like it
