DKWANServer spaces problem- Internet temp files
Hi, I'm not sure it happens to other Webfocus system, but please help if you have any idea.
We found the Win2k server has 20G eaten up by the temp internet files (under local setting).
We did what IBI suggested a few months ago (set the size to 1M) after we deleted all temp files.
It looks like the Report caster console or other application keep putting files in the temp folder but not able to CLEAN up automatically.
Any idea what is going on?

Tom FlynnSET TEMPERASE = ON
Should be added to your EDASPROF.prf to clean-up temporary files

Jason K.why would it be caching that much in the first place?
does it make it faster or somethign?

RichHI actually ran across this awhile back.
What they might have given you was Microsofts fix for it's problem...Temporary Internet Files Use More Disk Space Than Specified

DKWANThanks for all help.
We cleaned up the Temp Internet Files using the method in the Rich's link and get back 22G spaces. It looks very good now.
Perhaps we'll monitor and repeat the process in a few months.
I also add the Temperase=on to see if it helps.
Thanks again.
