I have a problem where I was unable to get percentage symbol while trying to print it on subfoot. I am using following code.
TABLE FILE CAR SUM DEALER_COST RETAIL_COST SALES MPG COMPUTE RATIOSUM/D8 = (DEALER_COST+RETAIL_COST); NOPRINT COMPUTE FIELD1RATIO/D8 = (DEALER_COST)/(RATIOSUM)*100; NOPRINT COMPUTE FIELD1RATIO2/D8 = (RETAIL_COST)/(RATIOSUM)*100; NOPRINT COMPUTE XBY/I1 = 1 ; NOPRINT BY TOTAL XBY NOPRINT BY COUNTRY BY CAR ON XBY SUBFOOT -*ON TABLE SUBFOOT "GRAND Total <+0> "RATIO <+0> -*ON COUNTRY SUBTOTAL DEALER_COST RETAIL_COST SALES AS 'STotal ' ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K ON TABLE SET STYLE * TYPE=SUBFOOT, HEADALIGN=BODY, JUSTIFY=RIGHT, $ ENDSTYLE END
any suggestions would be a great help for me.
THanks, webfocus 7.1 , excelThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
DEFINE FILE CAR
RATIO/D5% = RETAIL/DEALER*100;
END
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
SALES
RATIO NOPRINT
BY COUNTRY
ON COUNTRY SUBFOOT
"<RATIO"
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
END
Gives me % in the SUBFOOT. You must have other code that prevents the %. Post your code between

[/code]
tags.
