Hi everyone!

We got a report that's running fine when launched in development environment, but gives a strange error when we launch it pointing on production environment:


WebFOCUS Message[280]: NO_ODIN_ATTACH Er...

Error attaching to Reporting Server: XXXXX
The reporting server may not be running or may not be properly defined in the Client Communication Configuration file.

Please notify your server administrator.


A combobox on the HTML page doesn't load any data, then two pop-up windows appear with the above message. When at least one pop-up is closed, the data is loaded in the comboox, but it still doesn't always work correctly (seems not to keep focus).

Any idea what may be causing this and how to fix it?

EDIT: It takes forever to debug because the html won't open twice. I have to debug it once, close webFOCUS, re-open it and re-lauch the debug!

Yeah!

After spending the whole day on this one, I found out the ibic_server variable in the html code was pointing on the wrong server.

Case closed!
