Excel Download and EDASERVE crash..
Hi All,

i have two reports on a criteria page of which first report generates a graph and table and i am exporting this compound report(chart and table) to excel. the second report produces a HTML report.

issue: when i run the first report, html page with chart and table comes,then exported to excel and saves the excel report.then
when i tried to run the 2nd report from criteria page its giving me the error:-
"Unknown error occurred. Agent on reporting server EDASERVE may have crashed. Please investigate reporting server log".


i didnt find the reason in reporting server log .(are there any TRACE to turn ON?)why it happens?.


Note:when i refresh the 2nd page again it gives me the report.

do any one have any idea of what TRACES i should turn on?

rp if you are having server crashes then the best option is to raise a case with IBI support

They will give you details of how to enable the required traces which you then send to them to debug.

They also have the ability to do a remote session to aid in solving the problem
