Is there any log for WebFocus 715 that shows all types of activites and who did it?

Basically, I am looking for a who did what type of list which includes administrator activities without turning on some kind of a trace tool, because tracing will affect performance.

I've looked in Report Caster console and Web console but did not find any.

Thanks,
Ronnel C

How can you track who did what when and for how long without "some kind of a trace tool"?

Hi Ronn,

Has this issue been resolved on your side? Did the suggestions made to the topics help you? Many thanks to Francis and peyton.

In my understanding, both ReportCaster and Web Console have the feature of tracing. For more information on configuring those, the following manuals may be of interest:

ReportCaster Development and Administration 7.1.3

z/OS Best Practices for WebFOCUS and ReportCaster 7.1 and 5.x

Here are manuals for Resource Analyzer and Resource Governor:

iWay Resource Analyzer Administrator’s and User’s Manual 7.1.3

iWay Resource Governor Administrator’s and User’s Manual 7.1.3

Hope this helps. Smiler

Cheers,

Kerry
