I have a public dashboard which needs to be temporarily disabled. Right now when users go to the dashboard link they get an ugly "ERROR: ERROR_MR_CANT_OPEN_DOMAIN_FOR_USER You (public)" message. Is there a better way to disable the dashboard for public use? This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Emily McAllister>,

I haven't used WF7.x much, and have been using portals over dashboards for housing content. So, I'm not too familiar with how things work way back in those releases. Where is this dashboard? Can you right click the dashboard and unpublish it at all? If users are accessing the portal from a URL from somewhere, just switch out the href with # for now.
8.2.02M (production), 8.2.02M (test), Windows 10, all outputs.

Dashboard errors such as the one you describe can be customized by editing the webfoc_strings.lng file in WebFOCUS77/client/wfc/etc directory for your environment's language. In this case you want to change 'err_1047'.
