I have a html report that has four parameters, which are linked and pull dynamic data from a hold file. Two of the parameters I have added the ALL option.
Note: they are seperate where clauses in the procedure with multiselect on.
But when I run the report with both parameters to ALL it does not return any results, but if I select a value for one I get the expected results? Any idea's?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Add -SET &ECHO=ALL; to the beginning of your request and then run it. When you view source, you will be able to see the code that was created for your WHERE statements and figure out why they're not working like you think they should.

Darin

Check it out like darin says... Look for the values being passed and how the WHERE statement are constucted around them.
Post the results here if you cannot figure it out so we can help you... Then again, post the results even if YOU can figure it out so someone else can learn from it ...

When I am building HTML pages I first set the IBIF_ex to "showvars.fex" which is a fex I have squirreled away in the "baseapp" folder and all it contains is "-? &". The effect of this is that I can build all the controls etc. and then test it with many different options selected and all I get out of it is a listing of the variables that exist at runtime. I can then see what is being passed as I expect and what is not. The other aspect of this is that I can be totally confident that my fex is not at fault!!

Thank you for all your input. My problem is related to an issue running the report as AHTML and using IE6, which I have in another thread. Any help on that would be great too. :-)
