Does anybody know the proper way to use the POST-PROCESSING Procedures option in ReportCaster. I have tried several naming conventions and nothing has worked. This is the error I get:
Task error: THE FOCEXEC PROCEDURE CANNOT BE FOUND: dsredtot
dsredtot is the name of the fex and it is located in the same folder as the primary task. Thanks! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Mark1,
Is dsredtot a WF Server procedure or a Standard Report in MRE? What does the dsredtot procedure do? Remember that post-processing procedures cannot send information back to the distribution server they can't contain report requests unless the have a HOLD or SAVE.

Darin

My understanding was that the post-processing procedures had to be server procedures. That would completely explain the error that you are seeing. However, I can't find any reference to that effect. Try putting app/fexname or domainname/app/fexname and see if that will work. If it doesn't, I'd say that they MUST be server procedures in the app path of the WF server. That the way all of my post-steps are set up.

Yes. When we say that they must reside on the server, that always means that they must be in the server's app path (or an app path as modifed by a profile)
