We are in the process of moving from CGI to servlets running under Websphere 6.0. I've noticed that when we try to generate a PDF report in Websphere 6.0, two windows open when the PDF is created. One of the windows is the actual PDF report and the other looks like the servlet request to webfocus. It seems like the window that is making the call to the server is staying open.
Here is an example of an intial call to generate the PDF report:
The window that launches this URL stays open and a new window is created with the actual PDF report.
In a websphere 5.0 install only the PDF report is left open after the report generates which is the desired behavior. Is there some setting I'm missing that controls closing the window that is generating the PDF and only displays the actual PDF report.
Thanks, Ron

Leah, Thanks for the response. It looks like we can rule out the application server.
We are testing with webfocus 7.11 and in our cgi environment and our websphere 5.0 environment we do not see this behavior which would seem to indicate there is some setting we are missing in our new Websphere 6.0 install.

I had this problem happening in 7.1.0, 7.1.1 and 7.1.3. The cause of the problem for me was the server was upgraded to JAVA 1.5 once we down-graded the JAVA that WebFOCUS used to 1.4.2 everything worked fine.
