App Studio 8008 Drop Down Error

Testing the waters with App Studio. When I add a drop down with static values and try and run the HTML I get this. Anyone else come across this issue?

I hope they fix it all. Just got this email about App Studio 8.2

I have realized I cannot rely on "exciting new features" until after several patches have been applied, by then I have found workarounds or adapted jQuery to do what I want.
