Hi! I'm using FOCUS on MVS. While I'm holding hold files into PDS (ON TABLE HOLD AS MYFILE) i'm getting input in it but heading information is not there. Although while not holding in PDS and checking the output in SSO log, i can observe heading as fieldname. How to capture fieldnames as heading. Please help. I'm almost new to FOCUS.

FORMAT WP gives headings but the output may be 133 characters per record. HOLD without a format creates a master file description which you can use for subsequent reports.

Why do you need the headings?

i need headings as per requirements. I have to create a dataset with Headings. It worked.
