Anyone know of a way to have a number, say 12.24358793217 show up in Excel rounded to two decimal positions yet showing the true value in the formula bar when positioned on the cell? I know I can do this with a template and a macro that runs when the report is opened, but I was hoping to avoid that.

I'm afraid that's the only way to get this done.
I don't think that webfocus has anything in place to limit the display to only 2 decinmals while sending the exact value to excel. It will always send the data with the number of decimals specified in the format, and I think the data is even sent to excel in plain text form - that's in case exl2k is the output form, excel97 does get the binary values.
