In WebFOCUS 5.3 I need to detach all slices of a pie chart and I can't find how to do that. I don't know, in advance, the number of series in a particular chart. To use setPieSliceDetach, it seems one needs to individually detach all series. So, I need some method to reference all series in a particular pie chart. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
You are correct. Each slice must be detached individually. You can simply include enough lines to ensure that any data-set is handled. The ones you don't need will not cause a problem during execution.
I will accept a New Feature Request for creation of a new API that detaches all slices, so feel free to open such a case with our support organization. I would envision something like "setPieSliceDetachAll(true|false);".

Just following-up on the status of your posted message to Focal Point. Have you had a chance to review Larry's suggestion? Would you like to make a New Feature Request for creating a new API that detaches all slices?
To make a New Feature Request, you will need to open a new case with Information Builder's Technical Support Help Desk and make the request. You can either call Tech Support at 1-800-736-6130, or access the online system InfoResponse at http://techsupport.informationbuilders.com.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Kerry
