This is not a question. It was something that happened at a customer's. I'll present it in terms of the CAR file.

The exercise is to produce a graph for ENGLAND JAPAN and ITALY.
On the x-axis we have SALES, RETAIL_COST, DEALER_COST.
On the y-axis the values for each country.
I have a solution which I will post. In the mean time, any proposal is welcome.

Daniel

I would do this with a multi-Y graph, although that would be limited to max 5. (the Car database has only 5, so no problem)
So tree groups of data on the x-as.
For the exact coding I need to be on the office.

Hi Danny,

See if this will do what you need:

GRAPH FILE CAR
SUM RC DC SALES
ACROSS COUNTRY
WHERE COUNTRY EQ 'ENGLAND' OR 'JAPAN' OR 'ITALY';
ON GRAPH SET LOOKGRAPH VBAR
ON GRAPH SET GRAPHSTYLE *
setSeriesAreRows(false);
setPlace(true);
END

Vicky,
Very nice! I didn't know about setSeriesAreRows(false);

I used some focus code and an alternate Master. Your solution is very elegant.
Thanks.
