The above hold file card gives the report with the list from 1 to 18 ...and now in the second report i wanted to reverse the list...I mean the final output should print from 18 to 1 ..
7.7.02, sql server Windows all output (Excel, HTML, PDF)
The most probable reason for that is code tightening. In fact, the LIST word is a reserved keyword, and should therefor not be used. You can work around this by specifying BY HIGHEST E01 (which is the LIST field).

Assuming the generated field is still call "LIST" -- the parsing algorithm was apparently changed so that LIST is interpreted as a verb, despite its being the name of a field.
To force it to refer to the LIST column, just qualify it -- in this case,
BY HIGHEST CARD.CARD.LIST
