By default, I thought we could look up the user under "Webfocus Console->Workspace->Monitor->Data Server Agents". But this column is always blank for any open agent.
Is there a way/process to enable the user id to show on the list? Please help. I know there are other ways to track usage, but thought this is the most simplest and direct way to know what’s going on the server.
Thanks.

You have to be a server admin or a server operator to see all of the user ids. Basic users can only see theirs by going to My Console, Kill Own Agents.
BTW, you probably have to have security on in the reporting server to see this.
If by "open agent" you mean one that is "idle" then there is no userid associated with the agent. When they are "in use" the userid will show (given the correct admin level). It shows evem for un secured servers on windows...
