I was searching through the discussions regarding excel drill-thru reports (to be used by users who are off-line). Can these not be done? That is kind of what I am getting from the discusstions - that maybe a pivot table report is better for this need? Thanks. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
I am not sure what problem you are having but the same situation exists if you run a program from Report Caster and email an Excel document with drills.
To make sure that the drills work, the program that creates the original document must have a FOCEXURL statment in it:
SET FOCEXURL=http://your_web_server/ibi_apps/WFServlet
kat, "OFFLINE" means no access to the server... is that what you mean? if so, excel pivots are stand alone, active reports are stand alone, and compound pdf's with bookmarks are stand alone. But if you need the FOCEXURL to be set, and your users have no access to the server... you're out of luck. -S.
