Hi,

I would like to know whether the end users/power users can schedule their own reports?

i.e., a user logs into a portal and finds a report. The user should be able to schedule the same report to be run on a different day or time.

Can such a functionality be provided using WebFOCUS? If so, how is this achieved?

Cheeers,,
Mohan

sure, its quite simple.
if you're using MRE,
and you're the admin,
then you open User Administration, and give your power users ReportCaster rights.
No need to bother with the api manual..
just the MRE Admin manual will help, but its so easy to set up, you don't need a manual.

Susannah is right if you are using MRE/UAS/Dashboard. However, if you are running a self-service environment outside of MRE/UAS/Dashboard then the API manual can be very useful.
