We developed a Maintain application with a grid on some of the forms. Grid requires to install ActiveX control(ax_ug.ocx) on the local computer to work. But some of our PCs require installing this AX control in command prompt by typing Regsvr32 ax_ug.ocx. Since we developed this application for our faculty members, it is hard to install manually on each and every computer they use. Any ideas how to overcome this problem?

If some of your users require this active-x to be installed manually, then I would start with investigating why this is the case. Normally, if the use of active-x is allowed, the installation and registration of the ax-ug module is automatic. So if manual intervention is required, I would see this as an error situation that is worth investigating if the number of PC's concerned is high.
As a side note: a lot of companies I work with do not want to have active-x's on their client PC's, so I always try to stay away from using the grid.
