Hi We are working in Mainframes environment. If we try to schedule the controller process through ReportCaster its giving error while running “THE FOCEXEC PROCEDURE CANNOT BE FOUND: ”. Include files are not recognized, and when we give the server path in INCLUDE, it is able to locate the procedure. But even then an error occurs while identifying the Target Mart, it says “Task error: THE DESCRIPTION CANNOT BE FOUND FOR FILE NAMED:”
Please let us know if there is any limitation (server dependent) in scheduling reports through the Report Castor.

I schedule the reports from the MRE, my first attempt gave me the same errors as you have. The report caster is in fact a user that should have the proper rights to run a report.

Syed : We have our reporting server (EDA) on the Mainframe, with the WF Client on a Windows Server. The majority of our Focus code is on the mainframe. We never had any issues in scheduling jobs in RC, either with Fexes that are strictly in the MRE or those on the mainframe.
In cases where the code is on the mainframe, the RC schedule is pointed to a dummy MRE member that will have this following one line...
-MRNOEDIT -INCLUDE MNFRMFEX
This will instruct the WF processing engine to look for a program called MNFRMFEX on the mainframe and not in the MRE. Well ofcourse, our WF setup has been configured to connect to the mainframe by default, it being the only data source in our situation. All our data files/DB2-tables and their respective MFDs are on the mainframe and our schedules execute just fine without a hitch.
RC may have its share of limitations (like using MORE in your code, etc), but with the right settings, you should be able to schedule jobs that reside on the mainframe just fine.
