I've been wrestling with an Excel template for the last month. I've finally been able to get it to run by increasing the heap size. Now I've run into a different problem. The template contains two pivot tables run off of one detail table. I've created various pivot table templates in the past, however, this is the first time I've run two tables off of one source. My problem is with the first pivot table. It keeps dropping a filter upon execution. There are three slicers in this pivot table and the one associated with the filter also disappears. I can go in and reselect the filter in the Pivot Table Field List and everything looks good; but that's not how it's supposed to work.
Has anyone else experienced a missing filter on an Excel template?
