Hi,
is there any amper variable which displays the modified date of the fex file or the data file located in the dataserver .

Hi Francis,
i tried the post you sent but unfortunately it dint help me much.? fdt gives the description for only the tables but i want to know the modified date for the text files and the fex files in my application folder under the dataserver. what i am trying to do is check the modified date of the text file and compare it with the system date and if it is equal then run the reportcaster job else kill the job.

From the docs:

-READ SAVE1 &MOD_DT.A10.

-TYPE &MOD_DT


&MOD_DT is the amper variable you can use.
