hammo1j-WINFORM: Is this still in use?
I was just browsing 7.1.3 docs looking for something completely different when I came upon this.
Designing User Interfaces for
Windows Reporting Applications
It seems that this manual which refers to v4.3 contains the -WINFORM windowing system so beloved of my FOCUS youth.
It seems that the facility has been considerably enhanced, then it disappears off the radar with version 7.
Does anyone still use them or know the story behind how they came to be deprecated?

GinnyJakesThat hasn't been around for a long time. The recommended path is MAINTAIN which creates its own forms.

Dave Ayers-Winform is also beloved of my 'youth', and I know of at least one Focus for Windows application that uses them and is still in use ! Through for how much longer is a question...

Tony Ajgelona,
Do not despair - you have company in the feeling old stakes
John,
Winform was asked about very recently by an Italian gent (now retired), who wished to rekindle some grey matter.
And, I'm sure that, if he were active at present, Alan B would be able to spread some anecdotes to sooth your (our) feelings of advancing years
