When I log into the MRE and open a domain folder, I cannot scroll through all my report titles. I have to click on a report and then use my down arrow to get to the bottom of the list. Others developers have this issue and others don't within my company. Any ideas?
Thx

It is the version of Java you are using. If you are past the 1.4_2_07 the scrolling does not work. If the machines have Microsoft VM as the Java tool, they work fine. This is a known issue at Information Builders, don't know when it will be 'fixed'. It's broke through 7.1 version we have.

Just roll back your Java and don't update till IB gets the fix in.

microsoft jvm isn't available from microsoft anymore...(some argument between ms and sun)..but it is available from the ibi tech support site ( a search of the kb gives downloadl link below).
I would suggest downloading it and then disabling sun java in your internet options/advanced/java(sun) and then enabling the one right below
microsoft VM/JIT compiler ...etc.
works great for us.
ibi download

Susannah,

Get with the present and get yourself a mouse with a scroll wheel between the two buttons!

An absolute must have although many applications do not take advantage of it, such as the VB editor in MS Office apps (particularly ExcelFrowner), earlier versions of Sun JAVA and the list goes on ............
