Can anybody help, I have been triying to change some parameter to appear vowels with acute or letters such as Ñ ñ û, etc, but the Tomcat does not do case to me

What operating system are you on?

I know for instance that on SUN OS the code page used by the operating system is not suitable for full
NLS support with Tomcat.

If it's SUN, have the Tomcat admin add the following to the Tomcat startup script (startup.sh).

LANG=en_US.ISO8859-1
export LANG
