Hi Guys,

Can you suggest me how to start Report Caster Server in UNIX environment.

I checked the status of Report Caster.It is FAIL.Please find below screen shot.

I tried Restart ReportCaster option,but i did not work.

Help me on this.

Rakesh,

If you are not able to restart from console, then it could be some configuration issue. Please check the logs.

You can also try from cd $IBI_HOME/WebFOCUS80/ReportCaster/bin/, here there will be file called schbkr, you can run this script to start distribution server.

sh schbkr
Run this script and your service will start. You should run this in the path mentioned by Ram. This will not run your service in you backend so if you come out of the session the service will stop.

sh schbkr &
This will run your service in backend so your service will keep running even if you terminate your session.
