What was your deployment scenario? We use to deploy it as an War file. (webfocus.war)
Did you have WebSphere on the same machine as WF client? WF client installed in IIS and Webfocus server and Websphere on the same machine. Webfocus reports are installed as an War file under the directory structure in websphere. Changed the edasprof.prf to point that folder.
What versions of WebFOCUS, WebSphere, operating systems and the hardware. Webfocus 533 Websphere 5.0 OS Win2k - development Unix - Integration Testing

Kamesh, As you publish platform information can you check it please. Windows XP is NOT an IBI supported production platform as far as I know. (I think it's just an oversight because the info you’ve given suggests otherwise).
Logically your deployment sounds quite normal apart from deploying your reports as a .war file.
Am I correct in thinking that your apps directory is a directory under the Websphere deployment directory and not under ibi/apps.
I can think of several companies that have such rigid web deployment policies, that this is required. However it really is the hard way to do it.
We are planning to use WebSphere 6.0 in a network deployment mode, meaning using the WebSphere that is on a different linux partition than WebFOCUS client, but the same physical box.
Any one using this typ WAS deployment?.
Thanks.
