SAP BW Query Performance

Hello,
has anyone hints for me in getting a better performance for queries against a SAP BW. Is there something I can do in designing the synonyms? At the Moment we have a poor performance. And I can't see the reason.

Enabling traces may allow you take a look at the SQL being sent to SAP and perhaps spot some deficiencies there.

Prod/Dev: WF Server 8008/Win 2008 - WF Client 8008/Win 2008 - Dev. Studio: 8008/Windows 7 - DBMS: Oracle 11g Rel 2
Test: Dev. Studio 8008 /Windows 7 (Local) Output:HTML, EXL2K.
