[SOVLED] Rotating Texts with mixed languages
I have a column title that I need to rotate 90 degrees in Excel. As is common, I am saving the code HTMTABLE and rotating it in xml with mso-rotate:90. Normally this works fine. But this time I am trying to rotate a title that is English-Thai-English. The Thai part of the title is rotating and the English part is not. When I cut and past the cell to send it to someone to look at, both the Thai and English words are rotated. So, it seems to be only in the way FOCUS is displaying the Excel file. The data has rotated in actual fact, but I just can't see it. This is happening on mainframe FOCUS v. 7.3.7.

UPDATE = Changing the font size to 8.0 from 7.0 fixed the problem. Now, both the Thai and English rotate. But can anyone explain why a font size change should fix it?

Excel (or HTML, PDF, etc) renders your output not FOCUS. The Font that you have on your machine (or on the Server if Server side processing) may not have a Font installed that supports your desired font size.

Thank you, Alex! At lest that makes some sense. Now can anyone tell me how to change the title to [SOLVED]?
