Dear J.
If you put your code between the code tags (the red right button > on top of this input form) you can post codes in this text.
If you create a screen print and post it as an image it might help us better to understand your question.

onClick="home.html"
is incorrect HTML/JavaScript syntax. The correct syntax is:
onClick="self.location.href='xxx.html';"
Depending on the location of the page you're linking to, you also have to specify the path of the file. e.g., if the file is in an application folder:

Hi Francis Mariani, Actually your suggestion worked fine, but I moved HTML file is into MRE domain as per the requirement. How can I specify the path for button(onClick) in MRE which is suppose to call the HTML file.
Any suggestions. Thanks in advance

Janakiraman, You need not necessarily move your html to MRE, instead you can create an URL link to your HTML file in MRE and accomplish the same.

Hi Shyam, Thanks for your reply. I tried with the link in HTML LAYOUT PAINTER that is working fine, but I need the onclick code between -HTMLFORM BEGIN and -HTMLFORM END.
In HTML LAYOUT PAINTER for this click event it generates the request list but how can I implement it in between -HTMLFORM BEGIN and -HTMLFORM END
Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Janakiraman, You can use the form tag in html code and in onsubmit event of this tag you can invoke the required fex.
Thanks, Shyam L

now i don't know the code off the top of my head but if i had to guess i'd say it would involve changing the syntax of the onclick event to point to the MRE html page-
as you will have the addresses of these pages to hand you are probably better off just trying to amend the onclick event yourself- just get it to trigger the MRE html page instead of whatever one it is triggering at the moment...
i reckon you could work it out from an existing onclick event if you had a look

Try whether you can make use of this code in your case
This snippet you need to include in your code at relevant places. On click of button, the fex mentioned in the hidden variable will be called and other hidden variable values will be passed to the called fex.
