I turned on Active Caching for a particularly large Active HTML report- which is working great for actually getting the report to load (previously, the number of rows was overwhelming the browser).
The catch is, once the user pages past the cached rows, and the browser goes back to the server to retrieve more, the next data set comes back with all the original columns... plus a timestamp column (presumably when the dataset was cached?) appended to the front of the data. This extra column throws off the grid displaying the data. I'd like to get rid of this column, but can't find any documentation on where it's coming from, or an option/parameter to turn it off.
Anyone else experience this? Any ideas?

This sounds like an issue to be fixed, so you may want to open a case and report it, but in the meantime please try increasing the number of rows. In Report Painter, select Active Cache from the Features tab of the Report Options dialog box, and enter the Number of rows retrieved or use the default. The default number or rows retrieved is 100. It is recommended to set the number of rows retrieved five times greater than the number of lines retrieved per page (as indicated in SET LINES). The minimum number of rows retrieved should be at least 100.
Cheers,
Kerry
