I'm pressed for a way for creating a master file using the user.htm file as the data source. There was a post from last year that looked pretty strait forward but apparently I'm missing something. I need to be a able to list all of MRE users, email addresses, Report Library access(boolean), Report Caster access etc.. Specifically to expose the data, what needs to be added to the .acx file and .mas file. We can keep the MREUSERS synonym name as given in the example. Thanks in advance for your attention to this issue.

Thanks for the info Ginny. I will look into the MR Admin manual. I've also updated the profile sig. I still would like to know how to source the user.htm file directly. In the message from last year here's what was said. Here is a sample master file that you can point at your USER.HTM file. This will allow you to write reports against the file so you can run reports directly from your MRE user repository.
$ MREUSERS
FILE=MREUSERS, SUFFIX=FIX, $ DATASET='c:\ibi\WebFOCUS71\basedir\user.htm' $-- Change the above line to point to the user.htm file on your server
I don't know about that message that you heard last year. But the extract utilities do work. And they come with masters. All you have to do is write focexecs.
I think that that master was created by Francis. I used it a year ago, and if I'm reading it correctly, you do not have to do anything to the acx - because there isn't one. To expose the role info, you should be able to create some defines against the MRE_ROLE ... maybe do CONTAINS against the actual values that are present there.
I'm just guessing. I don't have a working version to test with at the moment.
