Last week i posted a message asking for help on what now know as Universak Concatenation
Here is the detail of my fex
TABLE FILE SRTST3 PRINT JoinLabel YEAR AS 'Year' TYPELBL DIVLBL AS 'DivLbl' SALES ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD ON TABLE SET BYDISPLAY ON ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE HOLD AS SRTSTIN FORMAT FOCUS INDEX 'JoinLabel' TABLE MORE FILE SRTST4 END
I get the following message:
Error parsing report request >TABLE< TABLE MORE
If i remove the word TABLE, I get the following message:
Error parsing report request >FILE< FILE SRTST4>
SRTST3, SRTST4, SRTST5, and SRTST6 have the same column title and format
I made it run last week ( once only ), saved the file, now i can't make it again
Could you please tell me what i'm doing wrong
Thank you. This message has been edited. Last edited by: YKK,
Tested your code (with slight modification) and had no problem whatsoever. My code (for the good old car file):
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT CAR MODEL SEATS
BY COUNTRY
WHERE COUNTRY EQ 'ENGLAND';
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET BYDISPLAY ON
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE HOLD AS SRTSTIN FORMAT FOCUS INDEX MODEL
MORE
FILE CAR
END
TABLE FILE SRTSTIN
PRINT *
END
Just gave me exactly what I expected. No error message at all.

Can you please update your profile, so we can see what product you use and what release you're on? That way we may be able to help you better, since there may be differences between products and releases.
