Can anyone help me find documentation on how to limit data access? Here is the situation.
I have master file descriptions in their appropriate application path folders. I have domains that are associated with the appropriate app path folder. I have users, in groups, that have access to a limited amount of domains. Why does every user have access to all data when they are only in one or a few domains?
Clearly I have missed a major step in the security process. Any help is appreciated.

There is a chapter named Providing Data Source Security: DBA" in the Describing Data With WebFOCUS Language manual. It is also in the WebFOCUS Security and Administration manual.

Let me clarify. I understand that it is possible to limit access at the database level but this is not possible for us. We have one user account that has select only access on the database and now we are looking to WebFOCUS to decide who can get to the data or not.
I want the security structure to mimick the access they get to the domains. If I only have access to domains 1,3 and 5 I should only have access to the .mas files for domains 1, 3 and 5.
Does this clear anything up?
