Passing Defined Fields as Parameters in a where statement

I am just beginning to work with parameters in the GUI tool. I cannot figure out how to refer to a defined field as a variable.

I have these fields defined

TDAY/MDYY='&DATEMDYY';
TDAY1/TRMDYY=DATEADD (TDAY,'D',+29);
BEGINDATE/MDYY=TDAY;
ENDDATE/MDYY=TDAY1;

This is my where statement:

WHERE ( OWNR_STUS_CD EQ 'SCHD' ) AND ( SCHD_DATE GE '&BEGINDATE.Enter Begin Date.' ) AND ( SCHD_DATE LE '&ENDDATE.Enter End Date.' );

How do I refer to the begindate and enddate fields to have it show up as the default option in my where statement?

Any assistance is appreciated. I am sure it is very easy but I know I am missing something!

I don't think the GUI tool will let you default a dialogue manager variable. It only lets you create one. What you would have to do is to add the code to the completed procedure by editing the focexec as text. Then you can use something like this:
  <br />-DEFAULT &STARTDATE=&YYMD;<br />-DEFAULT &ENDDATE = AYMD(&YYMD, -1,'I8');
You'll have to check my code on the AYMD function, I don't have the parameters memorized, and my manual is not handy right now.

This code will now show the values as defaults when the user is prompted.
