I am trying to get the background color for last 2 rows in the heading to line up with the back ground color for the titles. From the example below if I comment in the borders for the data the colors line up -- otherwise they are slightly off. Has anyone else had this problem and knows of a solution?

I would say this is a bug.

I left your data border styling in comments, and added this line
TYPE= REPORT, BORDER=OFF, $
The PDF is produced with the same gaps as you found. BORDER=OFF is the default and shouldn't change the look of the report. set BORDER=ON and you see the border. Compare the two reports and you will see that adding BORDER=OFF adds the gaps for the non-existent border.

I'd open a case with IBI, but I think bugs like this will not be fixed soon.

Hi Francis,
Thanks for your help.
I was hoping maybe there was some clever work around but maybe not.
Thanks,
Aneela

I can see the misalignment using Dev Studio 5.37.
Using Dev Studio 7.68 the misalignment disappears.
Looks like it got fixed between 7.13 and 7.68.

Aneela,

Francis seems to have grasped your concept, I don't think that I do. I see what the results look like with and without that "TYPE= DATA, BORDER-RIGHT=LIGHT, BORDER-LEFT=LIGHT,$". and they both look good. So, I'm guessing that I'm missing something. So, can you post an image of what you get and what you want (visually)?

PS: I'm using 764 on a Vista machine.

The only difference between the two is the styling TYPE=REPORT, BORDER=OFF, $. This is in v7.6.5 and Mighty Max suggests it may be fixed in one of the 7.6 versions.

I was wrong. The bug is still there in 7.68. Frowner
I can clearly see it now. Thanks to Francis.
