Running a report in MRE and it throws me an error saying "Connection reset to peer" after ran for 3 or 4 minutes.
I'm try joining two tables and each table will have around 2 million records. The final hold table will have around 200 records based on some condition. Not sure how I can optimize the join and get my report.
If anybody can suggest the way to solve this issue, that could be appreciated.

I don't think I've ever seen the "Connection reset to peer" message before.
If you suspect the JOINS are not correct I would trace the SQL generated by WebFOCUS - if the tables are SQL DBMS tables.
1) Turn XRETRIEVAL off:
SET XRETRIEVAL=OFF -RUN
2) Turn SQL traces on:
SET TRACEOFF = ALL SET TRACEON = SQLTRANS SET TRACEON = STMTRACE//CLIENT SET TRACEON = SQLAGGR//CLIENT SET TRACESTAMP = OFF SET TRACEWRAP = 78 SET TRACEUSER = ON -RUN
The trace will tell you if you're joining on non-indexed columns or if aggregation is not being done due to a DEFINE field or SUM of an alpha field.
I hope this helps.
Francis.
