Hi ,

Can you give a bit more info on what you want to do?

To my knowledge, the only place you can compare two values with 'if' is in a define or compute. However, you can compare two values with 'where'.

I second Leah's note. The WHERE clause is much more flexible than the IF clause.

Use:

WHERE fieldname comparison fieldname;

For example:

WHERE MY_LNAME EQ BOSS_LNAME;

Thanks!
