I've noticed something odd when using the Server Console to create metadata for DB2.

On WebFOCUS 5.2.3, the SUFFIX is SQL, while on WebFOCUS 5.3.4, the SUFFIX is DB2.

I am assuming there's no difference?

I'd say no difference in SQL vs DB2 as a suffix is a yes/no issue. DB2 has it's own rules. SQL is a more generic.

The SUFFIX of DBFILE and SQL400 is specific to DB2 data types on the AS400.
SQL400 is when creating tables with the AUTOTOOLS
