I have a Web Service data source in WebFOCUS that is looking for me to pass it a primary key field value, and then the web service will return the single record for that primary key field value.
Does anyone know how to pass this primary key field value to the Web Service from a query in MRE?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
The web servce is looking for me to invoke it with a single primary key field value.
If I use the where statement, the web service appears, based on how long the report takes, to be sending back all of the records in the web service, and then the where statement is applied on the WebFOCUS side.
I'm trying to apply the where statement on the web service side, so that the web service only sends back the one record I'm asking for. This message has been edited. Last edited by: ColdWhiteMilk,
I needed to look at the fields in the "tree" view in Report Assistant instead of the "list" view, and then apply my where clause to the field tied to the "invoke", which appears above the list of "response" fields.
