has anyone ever seen this error message when trying to run a servlet call using WF 7.64. The servlet calls were working great...then yesterday we are receiving the following:
>WebFOCUS Message[6]: NO_OPEN Can't open script(file)
any help is greatly appreciated
thanks
WF 7.6.10 /IIS 6/ JBoss Enterprise 4.3 Windows XP SP 2/Windows 2003 Server MVS 7.3.3
Our servlet calls on this one server just stopped working over night. I compared the windows updates to those of the other servers and there are no differences as well as no differences to the configuration files. I also recycled the server a few times. I can't even run a servlet call on port 8080. I put in a ticket with IBI just waiting to hear back. I wil keep you posted. Thanks for your reponse!

My response is completely rhetorical, but they don't just stop working overnight when nothing has changed. Java problems on the client box, ports locked down, additional security added, memory issues, corrupted files/directories on application server. If no servlet calls are working on this port, then it isn't an IBI issue. It's something to do with your web or application server.

Darin

I can get into the Administrator Console whhich i find weird. The only thing that I found out that has changed was an update to McAfee. I am researching that to see if it is blocking anything. The IBI tech support shows that this was a known issue in earlier versions. The culprit in those versions was the site.wfs which i am not using.. I have a ticket in with IBI with some trace files.
